Lead time is typically 4-6 months, however holidays, SHOT show, and our staff’s military obligations can affect this. A safe assumption is the more complex the Cerakote, the longer it will take. Single color/two tone non pattern guns, that are ordered exactly as on our packages will get done the fastest. 

Step 1: Obtain a base rifle if you do not currently have one (if you don’t have one, see below

Step 2: Fill out the order form from https://madpigcustoms.com/lever-gunsmithing

Step 3: Email Bobby, bobby@madpigcustoms.com with a copy of your order form to start the receiving process

Step 4: Mail your rifle and a printed copy of your order form to the address on our FFL.

Step 5: Upon receipt of your rifle, we will reach out to you within a week or two (typically) and we will confirm your order and take the deposit which is 60% of your total order. 

Step 6: Your rifle is done! We complete your build, reach out to you to confirm your return address and take the remaining 40% balance

Step 7: We mail your rifle back and you enjoy your new position as a member of the Mad Pig family, #tinyhandsgang, and you immediately start flexing on poors via Instagram posts (Don’t forget to tag us!) 

No, we do not. We encounter the same product shortages as the rest of the market. We use the same distributors and dealers, and frankly due to us not being a high-volume retail gun store, we get less allocations. 

We will supply a base rifle by purchasing the first available rifle we find at or above MSRP for an additional $75 fee. We make no guarantees on pricing but expect it will cost well over MSRP and we will likely have to source it from gunbroker. We will do our best to get the cheapest price possible. To be clear, this is among the most expensive possible ways to get a Thumper. 

Absolutely. This is a sad but common occurrence, unfortunately you will typically spend more fixing a bad “gunsmith” job than getting it done right the first time. For most repairs, we cannot quote cost until we have the firearm in our shop and have inspected it to figure out what needs to be done.

No, we do not currently offer any services on them except for Cerakote. The parts are not interchangeable and with the limited aftermarket for these guns, we are not currently working on them. As this changes, we will update our social media. Add an answer to this item.

Not on lever guns. If you have access to 5-10 guns and want them done at once, we can discuss discounts. Email bobby@madpigcustoms.com with inquiries for quantities of guns you have on hand. 

Yes. Ensure you have a full inventory of parts that you’ve supplied with your rifle attached to your order form and inform bobby@madpigcustoms.com before you send your rifle in for work so we can adjust your pricing accordingly. That said, we’ve found that it will not save you money doing it that way and recommend just sending in your base gun and having us supply the rest of the parts. 

Yes and no. Our applicator staff will not duplicate another applicators work, we have our own style to things and while we will do things similar, exact copies of others work isn’t something we believe in doing. Color matching, we will work on getting an approximate match for additional cost. Color matching will only be done if we are supplied with a part of the color to be matched. We cannot and will not color match off of a print out, or photo as colors get lost due to image filters, print tones and hues etc… Email lib@madpigcustoms.com with specific inquiries.
